2011 Recap

My last post was 25th Nov 2010, really paisheh . Today we have enter to 01012012, would like to have a quick recap of what happen to me in 2011. Alot of great things, first time experience, first time archievements, great career and great vacations in 2011.

What you can see above was my 1st 21KM Penang Marathon Run (Half Marathon). It was organized by Allianz and one of the sponsor was DiGi. Alot people told me that is impossible for me to complete the 21km run without practice. But i told myself that nothing is impossible if we "atleast" try. Yup, i managed to complete the run within time and is a great motivation and archievement for myself. Lesson learn? Yes, trust yourself, give it a try, never give up and ignore the negative comments. Thanks to DiGi to organize 40 buses & accomodations for DiGizen to take part on it, without this momentum i think i will not think of participate at all.

Also took parts in one of Operations yearly event. Team Building. Extremly nice but tough. Is not as simple as you thought. Not class room activity but hardcore activity. Held at Awana Genting. Food & Accomodations is superb. Eat until you can vomit. But when come to games, is as hard as running up hills, cross obstacles and make sure your whole team is with you. Lesson learn? Yes, Continue and never give up. Team Work is very important.

Great Vacation to Hong Kong & Macau with family members.Exciting trip but too hot :) If can choose again, dont go during summer time...Worse than Malaysia. Anyway, is great to be with my family. Macau food is cheap and extremly nice. Don't mention about the seafood, fantastic!!! But food in HK is abit costly. If HK Hotel Rooms can be "abit" BIGGER..It will be damn good!!! hahahah... Lesson learn? Yes, Don't forget about your parent while you enjoying with your love one. They deserved for a great vacations as well. If you have budget issues, i think will be nice if atleast you bring your parent to "Cuti -Cuti Malaysia". 

Don't forget about your close friend as well. Is nice to have a small gathering with your best friend during their birthday. We have a great makan makan at thai restaurant. Can't remember why our other "buddy" can't join us at that time..Lesson Learn? Yes, shared happiness and hard time flies :)

Have been with WoW&IS under Kevin Khoo for almost 18months and i have a great time under this sections. Have learned alot of things and enjoy the great moment with colleague. Every quater we will have our team outings and twice makan makan was organized by me. If you ask me to organized, sure will be Sunway Chicken Hartz Buffet. Cheap, Full & Plenty of time to chat. Heheheh, but my team have "warn" me that no more Chicken Hartz for next outing..hahahahha. Lesson Learn? Yes, If you want something, just take lead and organized it the way you want :) E.g Chicken Hartz. If you don't dare to take lead, just say thank you to organizer for the full tummy :)

Crazy Summer 2009

Last week 21st Feb 2009, is our Crazy Summer Trip. This time to Port Dicksons... har...Port Dicksons... do what... so boring... nothing special right.... BUT you are wrong...and i am wrong too.. Really different experinece that i never felt before. The trip is 2 days 1 night and we stay at Mayang Sari Resort located just beside Corel Resort. The trip just cost us RM160/person including one round table dinner, supper, room and all the team building games.
Our Diamond CK is our hero..he drove us from Puchong directly to Port Dicksons... thanks CK..When we reached, we check into Mayang Sari Penthouse at Level 9. Inside have 2 level, with 3 bedrooms, 3 toilet, kitchen and living hall. Extremly beautiful and MALAY feel coz all the furniture looks Malay but still look very nice.

We devided into 6 groups and our above is my group..name "Turtle" hehehehehe... From the games, we always learn to cooperate, motivate each other, help each other and solve problem together. It really make us relax and get out from our stressfull job.

My bro team and the fat fat one on the right picture is me..playing Flying Fox. Damn scary but very nice experince...i never play flying fox before... heheheheh

He is our oldest team member and he never said "no" to any exciting games. It make us motivated and never give up... There are alot of potential hidden inside us just that we never realise. If we push ourself abit more and never give up, we will open up our own potential.

I also 1st time play Tug of War.. Best experience... and another picture is to built a tower.

After games, makan lah,.. If i not mistaken, total dishes are 8. Soup, Pork, thai source fish, sotong, fish noodle fried with egg, tofu, veg and desert.. And Lou Sang too.....

Above is the view from 7th floor... you are correct, we going down from the 7th floor like the fireman.. extremly scary but nice experience. Second pic is to pretend as one family. Which funniest group will get highest mark. The last games is cannoing (kayak), i also 1st time play and really fall in love with the games. The sea is very nice and when you cannoing further away, it make you feel relax and happy.

This is our Glorious Team photo. All of them are very positive and energetic. When you get close to them, you will make yourself felt positive too.

Sometimes when we too stress with our work, take some time for a vacation and it will bring you to another stage of life. Next time if all of you want to join me, just let me know. Our team always has outdoor activity that everyone can join.

After all the activity, i have learned to think positive and never give up. Why? because all of the games will make you wanted to give up but if you just think positive and never give up.. you will complete the game. And that time, it will make you feel great. See you all next time.

Crazy Summer Camp - Selesa Resort

Last Sat and Sun 5th July 2008 , we have alot of funs at Selesa Resort. Duno where is it? is just on the way to Kuantan using Karak Highway. Another 20min will reach Bukit Tinggi. Really nice environement, fresh air and alot nice team building games. Thanks to all the team leader who setup this camp. really nice and exciting and also can built our team works. On Sat, we start our around 10am after finished our breakfast. It take around 1 and half hours to reached due to bad traffic Jam at panda indah (normal lar...really hate that jam). Reached around 12pm. Check in to M2L3 apartment, 3 rooms and 6ppl. Rooms not bad, and fully air-con. After that gather at recep around 1.30pm. Around 90ppls attend that camp.. If i not mistaken, around 2pm we start our team building games. really excited with those games. Most of it required team works. and our team is call X-Men.. hahaha, other group is call sailormoon, ninja, ironman, popeye and robin hood. Around 7.00 pm we have dinner at Restoran Garden View. Nice food..around 6 dishes. Around 8pm we have our gathering again, this time each group need to think out one funny stories and act it out. hahahaha. really enjoy.. then around 10pm me, joan, suyee, selina all went back and have our nice cup of nescafe with 3 types of different bread for supper. really enjoy.. then i go out walk walk with joan until 12pm and go back oioi.... i think i we leave on this type of environment, life will be longer.. hahahah. Morning around 7am, i go out to take breakfast for my house mate. nasi lemak and meehon. around 7.50am gather again and we go to the team building area which specially setup by the hotel. Alot of exciting games that i never play before. later you can view the photo. One of the games is to cross the long rope over the poll.. hahaha... very tired but fun and good experinece. Before we go back, we have our dinner and went back around 3pm. Sailormoon got 1st prize....... hehehehehe... i got nothing. but i enjoy myself.. hahahah
